TOPICS - 2008 CONFERENCE
Sunday Evening
A deli style dinner will be available in the coffee room for arrivals from 5pm to 8pm.
At 8 pm there will be a Welcoming Conference at the Conference Center followed by a Travelers Mass in the Chapel.
Monday
Rev. Carl Schmidt, CSSR & Dr. Margarett Schlientz will present inner healing, the power of anointing,
and the mutual roles in the ministry of deliverance. Fr. Schmidt and Dr. Schlientz will be available to
make this presentation at the request of bishops or
members of the presbyterate.
Tuesday
Rev. Francis Martin will present on the topic: Deliverance is an exercise of the power and authority of Jesus Christ who dwells
in a particular way in every Baptized and Confirmed Christian through the character conferred on them by these two sacraments.
Wednesday
Various case studies will be presented by priests applying the discernment of
spirits, pastoral diagnostics, exorcism and deliverance issues. A panel
of clergy/laity will respond and audience participation will be encouraged.
Thursday and Friday Morning
Rev. Jeffrey Grob and Rev. Dennis McManus will make a joint presentation. They both bring wide pastoral experience in the area
of demonic-human contact, and will broaden and further develop the theological, canonical and practical understanding of this aspect
of priestly ministry. This content will build on their exciting 2007 presentation.
