TOPICS - 2007 CONFERENCE

Monday and Tuesday
Rev. Jose Fortea the demonologist from Madrid, Spain is an international expert in the area of discerning and ministering to those areas where evil devastates souls. He will develop common pastoral interventions aiding priests in some of the more complex ministerial challenges facing priests in their pastoral role.

Wednesday and Thursday morning
Rev. Jeffrey Grob of the Archdiocese of Chicago, and Rev. Dennis McManus of the Archdiocese of Mobile, will make a joint presentation on demonic possession and the use of the rites of exorcism. They both bring wide pastoral experience in the area of demonic-human contact, and will offer the benefit of theological, canonical and practical understanding of this aspect of priestly ministry.

Thursday Afternoon
Rev. John Michet and Dr. Margarett A. Schlientz will present how evil uses our thoughts to draw us into desolation so cleverly that one may not notice how his seduction plays on our wounds.

Friday Morning
Bishop Robert Hermann and Bishop Martin Holley will speak to the role of the Bishop as discerner and pastor to brother priests as they encounter the complex dimensions of evil in parish life.

Tuesday and Thursday Afternoon
At the last conference (2006) there were a number of attendants who were not familiar with inner healing prayer and the importance of this ministry as the core of deliverance and exorcism.  So we will provide two one hour sessions (part 1 & part 2) - Tuesday from 1:30 to 2:30 and Thursday from 1:30 to 2:30.  This will introduce you to the basic of this ministry.  Attendance is optional.
