CONFERENCE SCHEDULE - 2006

MONDAY, August 21, 2006 Rev. Lawrence Hennessey – An expert in writings of the early Church fathers will present the foundational theology for the Beatitudes and their relationship to healing and deliverance.
Rev. John Michet – Blessed are they who are persecuted – this conference will look at the relationships of the psychological and spiritual dynamics in the human heart as a basis for pastoral diagnostics relative to healing and deliverance.

TUESDAY, August 22 Reverend Douglas Leonhardt,S.J. and Dr. Margarett Schlientz will develop the content on discernment focusing on discernment of spirits as a continuance of pastoral diagnostics. The beatitudes of blessed are they who mourn and blessed are the poor in spirit will be the theological foundation.

WEDNESDAY, August 23 Reverend John Grigus will develop the beatitudes Blessed are the meek and Blessed are the merciful relative to God’s personal love and His desire to heal our broken spirits through Jesus His Son.

THURSDAY
, August 24 Msgr. John Esseff will develop the call of Jesus in our hearts to be Jesus for the world through the power expressed in the beatitudes Blessed are the pure of heart and Blessed are the peacemakers.

FRIDAY, August 25 Blessed are they that hunger and thirst for justice for they shall be filled will be the final highlight of the week. Dr. Renee Marazon has developed a program active in her diocese to stimulate Renewing the Renewal (title of her book) utilizing a special approach to developing personal prayer, praise, and gifts of the Spirit for the people in the pew! This will be helpful and significant for pastors and parish leaders.

PLEASE PLAN YOUR DEPARTURE FOR AFTER LUNCH ON FRIDAY.

NOTE:  This conference is scheduled with two tracks.  All conferees will attend the morning sessions and the first afternoon session (3 pm - 4 pm).  Beginning 4:15 pm the clergy and laity will continue on one track for laity and another for clergy.  The details will be clarified at the time of the conference.  These tracks will continue for the evening conference.  We will re-unite for evening prayer in the main conference room at 8:30.
