Dr. Margarett A. Schlientz, Conference Chair, has masters degrees in theology (Marquette University), and spirituality (Creighton University), psychiatric nursing (University of Maryland) and a doctorate in Psychiatric nursing (University of Pittsburgh). In her professional career as a university administrator and teacher (Marquette University) she has developed the integration of the psychological and spiritual relationship necessary for human growth and development. With her professional expertise she works as a national consultant as an agent of change affecting the internal culture within the health care system. Because of the value integration for human growth she has consulted with numerous religious communities and diocese. Presently in addition to her work with health care systems she is the Assistant Director at the Institute for Priestly Formation at Creighton University where she teaches and ministers to diocesan seminarians in an intensive ten week spiritual renewal program each summer. Committed to the ministry of healing she has taught numerous workshops throughout the country aiding clergy and laity in the ministry of healing and deliverance. Presently she is part of the team with the Institute training diocesan priests in a three year program in spiritual direction integrating the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola. |

Most Rev. Robert J. Hermann. Bishop Robert J. Hermann was born in Weingarten, Mo., on August 12, 1934, as one of 15 children. Bishop Hermann received a Masters Degree in English from Saint Louis University and taught at the following high schools for a total of 14 years: Mercy, DeAndreas, and Prep North. He also served as a part-time associate pastor in Our Lady Help of Christians, St. Catherine of Siena, St. Cronan, Holy Ghost, Holy Cross, and Most Holy Trinity parishes. He served as a full-time associate pastor at St. Pius X Parish for three years, as pastor of St. Andrew Parish for six years, and as pastor of Incarnate Word Parish for 14 years. During those years Incarnate Word became a regional hub parish for the International LIFE TEEN program. He served as dean of the Northwest County Deanery for six years. In March, 2001, he was appointed to serve as chairman of the Agency Review Task Force. In July, 2002, he was appointed Vicar General of the Archdiocese with responsibilities for four deaneries and numerous Archdiocesan agencies. Bishop Hermann was named an Auxiliary Bishop of St. Louis on October 16, 2002, and was ordained a bishop on December 12, 2002. |

Most Rev. Martin D. Holley. Bishop Martin D. Holley was born December 31, 1954, in Pensacola, Florida the 8th of 14 children. At Tate High School he was captain of the basketball team. He received his BA in management from Alabama State University and his Masters of Divinity degree from St. Vincent de Paul Seminary, Boynton Beach, FL in 1987. He was ordained to the priesthood on May 8, 1987 at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, Pensacola, FL. and he served as a priest for 17 years in the Pensacola, FL area. His ministry included: Member, Council of Priests 1988-91, 2000-2003 (Chairman), 2004-present. Tribunal Advocate, 1989 – present. Serra Club of West Florida, spiritual director, 1990-1992. Permanent Diaconate Program, spiritual director and instructor,1995-2003. Diocesan Commission for Catholic Schools, 1992-1998. Department of Ethnic Concerns, Director, 1993-1995. Joint Conference of the National Black Catholic Clergy Caucus, 1983 - present . Bishop Holley was serving as pastor of Little Flower, a 1,000-family parish in the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee when Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop of Washington. He was ordained bishop July 2, 2004 in Washington, DC. |

José Antonio Fortea.
Father Fortea (born in Barbastro, Spain,
1968), priest and specialized theologian in Demonology. He studied
Theology for his priesthood in the University of Navarre. He received the
degree of licentiate (licenza) in the field of History of the Church at
the faculty of Theology of Comillas. In 1998 he defended his thesis
(tesina) entitled Exorcism in the Present Age, under the direction of the
Secretary of the Comission for the Doctrine of the Faith of the Spanish
Conference of Catholic Bishops. He is a member of the clergy in the
diocese of Alcalá de Henares (Madrid). He combines his work as a
theologian with his activity as pastor of Saint Mary Magdalene Parish, in
Anchuelo (Madrid). Author of four books about Demonology, demonic possession and exorcism, every year he gives lectures in dioceses and universities around the World. He carries out his ministry of praying for persons afflicted by the Devil in Our Lady of Zulema Parish in the diocese of Alcalá de Henares (Madrid, Spain). Because of the lack of exorcists, cases come from all around the nation and other countries to his church and with a general permission of his bishop he prays for cases on a daily basis. |

Rev. Jeffrey S. Grob. Father Grob is a native of Cross Plains, Wisconsin and was ordained for the Archdiocese of Chicago in 1992. He received a Masters of Divinity degree from the University of St. Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, IL as well as a Licentiate in Sacred Theology. He served as associate pastor of Saints Faith, Hope and Charity Parish in Winnetka, IL for 6 years (1992-98). Father Grob also worked as Assistant to the Chancellor of the Archdiocese of Chicago during that time. He attended Saint Paul University in Ottawa, Ontario for four years, studying at the Masters and Doctoral level. Father Grob returned to Chicago in 2002 and was appointed Associate vicar for Canonical Services and assistant to the exorcist for the Archdiocese of Chicago. He completed his doctoral studies in canon law in 2007. |

Rev. John Michet - a priest of the Archdiocese of Chicago ordained in 1978. He has had extensive experience in the field of pastoral ministry, both on the parish level, as well as in counseling and spiritual direction. For the past six years he has been appointed by Cardinal George as exorcist to minister inner healing and deliverance in the Archdiocese. He is a consultant to Bishops throughout North America in these areas helping priests realize how ordinary is this ministry in their priestly role. Currently he serves on the staff of the Institute for Priestly Formation teaching and directing diocesan priests in the ministry of spiritual direction. |

Rev. Dennis D. McManus is a priest of the Archdiocese of Mobile, Alabama. Fr. Dennis McManus received his bachelor’s degree in Classical Languages and Philosophy from St. Mary’s College of California. He completed a Master’s degree in historical ethics at Georgetown University and a doctorate in historical theology (patrology) at Drew University. Together with Rabbi Leon Klenicki of the Anti-Defamation League of New York, he is co-editor of a forthcoming series from the Stimulus Foundation entitled, The Word Set Free: Preaching the Lectionary Free of Anti-Judaism. He is also a founding member of the board of the Institute for International Criminal Investigation, which examines forensic evidence of genocides world-wide. He served as Associate Director of the Secretariat for the Liturgy at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops from l997 to 2005. From 2005-2006, Fr. McManus was Director of the Intercultural Forum for Studies in Faith and Culture at The Pope John Paul II Cultural Center in Washington, D.C., where he also held the Smilow Chair in Catholic-Jewish Relations. At present, he is Associate Professor at Conception Abbey Seminary in Missouri. . He serves as Managing Editor of Paulist Press’ Ancient Christian Writers series, a patristics publication of nearly sixty volumes. |

Rosalie Hersil Rosalie comes with an extensive professional career in nursing as a clinician, educator and administrator both in the USA and Japan. Her long career in various specialties of nursing prepared her well to integrate spirituality into her practice. Using prayer and the gifts of the Holy Spirit combined with her nursing skills she is recognized for her leadership in her parish and the diocese. She is a core team member and leader in the River of Life Prayer Group. She is a respected teacher for renewal seminars, leader in the charism of intercession, inner healing and deliverance, spiritual warfare and a retreat director. For eight years she was vice-president of Woman's Aglow, participant in two pilgrimages to Israel to minister healing, spoke at the Catholic Charismatic Conference in the Caribbean British West Indies. With her husband Tom they have administered with their pastor healing prayer teams for the first Friday healing masses. Their two daughters Tina and Lisa are actively engaged with them in ministry. |

Msgr. John Esseff. Msgr's background is extensive with Masters degrees in Semitic Languages (Catholic University, Religious Education and Counseling (Marywood University) and a Doctorate in Ministry (Aquinas Institute, Dubuque, IA). His pastoral ministry has covered a myriad of needs serving the poor and destitute from the streets to prisons, homeless, handicapped in the Scranton area, Lebanon and Peru. He was pastor at numerous parishes in his diocese. Having served on numerous boards as consultant and advocate to interfaith groups, farm workers, prison chaplains, migrant workers, elderly etc. For two years he was director of the Pontifical Mission in Beirut, Lebanon. He also served as Director of the Propagation of the Faith and as Moderator for the Enthronement of the Sacred Heart in Scranton. He has received numerous awards and honorary degrees. Pope John II awarded him the Prelate of Honor award in 1983. Recently he responded to a need of Bishop Samuel Aquila to help develop a formation program for seminarians at Cardinal Meunch Seminary in Fargo, ND. He has returned to the Diocese of Scranton where he continues in his role as spiritual director and exorcist. | ||||||||

Thomas Hersil having completed his 8-day retreat he continues to be active in the parish ministry at Mary Queen of Heaven in healing and deliverance. Retired from the military where he strongly witnesses his moral and spiritual values within the relationships of his crew team members. His strong commitment to marriage carried his values to the influencing the younger crew to true commitment to their vows. Active in various prayer groups and ---- the art of spiritual direction at Our Lady of Devine Providence in Clearwater, Florida, he continues to witness to men calling them to spiritual growth. Christine and Lisa are both active members of their parish at Mary Queen of Heaven Parish, West Allis, WI.
Christine is a sacristan and Eucharistic minister at the parish. They are members of the
Intercessors
group in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. Lisa will be a discerner and Christine an intercessor for this conference. Christine is active in the Ecce Ancilla Domine team deepening in the gifs of the Holy Spirits and also in integrating a course in the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. Lisa is active by applying the gifts of the Holy spirit where she meets with the Ecce Ancilla Domine group praying for a continued outpouring of the holy spirit. |
Doris has been involved in ecumenical prayer in various groups throughout the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. She has a master's degree in Education and recently retired. Currently she prays with people for healing and deliverance and is active in her parish at Gesu. The present she is studying Spiritual Direction at Our Lady of Devine Providence in Clearwater, FL. She is a member of the core team of Intercessors prayer group within the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. |

Christine, a professional nurse, has committed herself to integrating spirituality at the professional level in various
specialties
of the health care field. With a special interest in children, she has developed skills in catechetical teaching, tutoring and volunteering in many and various rolls. She shares in the role of Eucharistic minister at her parish, St Mary's, Elm Grove and is active in the Intercessory prayer group in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee and a facilitator and core team member teaching the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. She is active as a core team member in the weekly River of Life Prayer Group. As a group of discerners in the Ecce Ancilla Domine, in preparation for this conference she has been a valued contributor. |
Marilynn has been active in prayer ministry for over 25 years. She and her husband Karl are the parents of five grown children. Marilynn is also an Associate of the Sisters of Mercy. As a member of Divine Mercy Parish in the Milwaukee Archdiocese of Wisconsin, she has participated as a Eucharistic Minister, Reader at daily ass, Facilitator of Communion services, Parish Commission Member, and Confirmation Teacher. She is also an active member of the Charismatic Renewal and serves, with her husband, on the Discerner Team for Southeastern Wisconsin with liaison Deacon Patrick Frye. For the past ten years, Marilynn has been a part of the prayer team in formation by, and under the Spiritual Direction of Dr. Margarett Schlientz. She is active in the intercessor group as a co-team member. |
Virginia has been married to Paul for 34 years. They have
4 children, Jennifer, 31, Jason 29, Matthew 25, and Michael 17.
She has been involved in her parish for 30 years as a CCD teacher, parish council member, prayer leader, enthronement coordinator, sacristan, choir member, funeral committee member. She is a Spiritual Director and Coordinator of a program called "Lord Teach Me to Pray" for women under the group Magnificat (a Catholic Charismatic Woman's group). She was on the Charismatic Board in the Milwaukee Archdiocese in the late 80's. | Sister Marilyn has degrees are in Reading and Learning Disabilities and in Social Work focusing on Family Therapy; Actively involved in the Charismatic renewal since 1989, she has served on the leadership Archdiocese of Milwaukee. She, with Rosalie Hersil have led a group of intercessors and taught the charism of intercession in the Milwaukee Archdiocese for over 20 years. |
