Dr. Schlientz

Dr. Margarett A. Schlientz  has a masters degree theology, spirituality (Creighton University), psychiatric nursing (University of Maryland) and a doctorate in Psychiatric nursing (University of Pittsburgh).  In her professional career as a university administrator and teacher (Marquette University) she has developed the integration of the psychological and spiritual relationship necessary for human growth and development.  With her professional expertise she works as a national consultant as an agent of change affecting the internal culture within the health care system.  Because of the value integration for human growth she has consulted with numerous religious communities and diocese.  Presently in addition to her work with health care systems she is the Assistant Director at the Institute for Priestly Formation at Creighton University where she teaches and ministers to diocesan seminarians in an intensive ten week spiritual renewal program each summer.  Committed to the ministry of healing she has taught numerous workshops throughout the country aiding clergy and laity in the ministry of healing and deliverance.  Presently she is part of the team with the Institute training diocesan priests in a three year program in spiritual direction integrating the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola.
Msgr. Esseff Msgr. John Esseff. Msgr's background is extensive with Masters degrees in Semitic Languages (Catholic University, Religious Education and Counseling (Marywood University) and a Doctorate in Ministry (Aquinas Institute, Dubuque, IA).  His pastoral ministry has covered a myriad of needs serving the poor and destitute from the streets to prisons, homeless, handicapped in the Scranton area, Lebanon and Peru.  He was pastor at numerous parishes in his diocese.  Having served on numerous boards as consultant and advocate to interfaith groups, farm workers, prison chaplains, migrant workers, elderly etc.  For two years he was director of the Pontifical Mission in Beirut, Lebanon.  He also served as Director of the Propagation of the Faith and as Moderator for the Enthronement of the Sacred Heart in Scranton.  He has received numerous awards and honorary degrees.  Pope John II awarded him the Prelate of Honor award in 1983.  Recently he responded to a need of Bishop Samuel Aquila to help develop a formation program for seminarians at Cardinal Meunch Seminary in Fargo, ND.  He has returned to the Diocese of Scranton where he continues in his role as spiritual director and exorcist.
Rev. Grigus  Rev. John P. Grigus, OFM Conv.  Father is a member of the Marytown Conventual Franciscan community and is the director of its Perpetual Adoration Program and Media Communication Ministry and founder and director of the Harvest Vocation Prayer Ministry, a Chicago-Archdiocese-wide intercessory ministry for priests and religious vocations.  He travels extensively throughout the USA administering parish missions, preaching at state-wide conferences and giving retreats to priests, religious and lay communities.  His special preaching focus is centered on topics of spirituality, Mary and the Eucharist.  He serves as spiritual director to the Pope John Paul II Eucharistic Association of the Archdiocese of Chicago, The Mercy Foundation, Maristella and the Chicago Marian Center.  He has also written a number of religious articles for the Franciscan Cord and Immaculata magazine.  He has also been the main consultant on a number of videos for the Mercy Foundation.  Prior to coming to Marytown he was a retreat director at St. Francis Retreat Center in Burlington, WI and regional representative to retreat centers in Wisconsin and Iowa for Retreats International.
Rev. Lawrence Hennessey - A priest of the Archdiocese of Chicago and Professor of Patristics at St. Mary of the Lake University, Mundelein, Ill.  He was the keynote speaker at the conference for Bishops on Episcopal Leadership and the March Symposium for the Institute for Priestly Formation on the Priest as Good shepherd.  He has numerous accomplishments to his credit, but his scholarly content is presented with a gracious gentleness that is most appealing.
Rev. Douglas Leonhardt, S.J. was ordained as a Jesuit priest in 1969. His graduate education was done at St. Louis University where he received a Licentiate in Sacred Theology and two Masters degrees, one in Spirituality and the other in Education. His priestly ministry has been in educational administration, formation of young Jesuits, and pastoral and retreat work. He has been a principal and a president of Marquette High School in Milwaukee.  He was Novice Director for the Wisconsin Province of the Society of Jesus as well as a provincial team member in charge of formation. He has served as pastor of Gesu Church in Milwaukee and is currently Associate Director of the Office of Mission and Identity at Marquette University.  He serves on the Boards of Sojourner Truth House, a home for battered women and children, and St. Joan Antida High School, a girls school for underprivileged women.
Rev. Michet Rev. John Michet - a priest of the Archdiocese of Chicago ordained in 1978.  He has had extensive experience in the field of pastoral ministry, both on the parish level, as well as in counseling and spiritual direction.  Currently, in addition to parish ministry, Fr. Michet serves as spiritual director at St. Joseph College Seminary in Chicago.  For the last six years he was appointed by Cardinal George to minister in the area of healing and deliverance.  In those areas he is a consultant to bishops throughout the country.  He has also been appointed exorcist for the Archdiocese of Chicago by Francis Cardinal George.
R. Hersil

Rosalie Hersil  Rosalie comes with an extensive professional career in nursing as a clinician, educator and administrator both in the USA and Japan.  Her long career in various specialties of nursing prepared her well to integrate spirituality into her practice.  Using prayer and the gifts of the Holy Spirit combined with her nursing skills she is recognized for her leadership in her parish and the diocese.  She is a core team member and leader in the River of Life Prayer Group.  She is a respected teacher for renewal seminars, leader in the charism of intercession, inner healing and deliverance, spiritual warfare and a retreat director.  For eight years she was vice-president of Woman's Aglow, participant in two pilgrimages to Israel to minister healing, spoke at the Catholic Charismatic Conference in the Caribbean British West Indies.  With her husband Tom they have administered with their pastor healing prayer teams for the first Friday healing masses.  Their two daughters Tina and Lisa are actively engaged with them in ministry.

Renee Marazon - Healing Ministry and Word Gifts Coordinator for the Diocese of Toledo, Ministry to Catholic Charismatic Renewal. She is widely published in the area of education particularly in the emotional and spiritual development of children.  Last fall she presented at the Leadership Conference in Chicago highlighting the implementation of a dynamic program in the diocese to renew the renewal.  She serves as a member of the National Service Team for Chariscenter, USA.  She has tapes and a book recently published for parishes describing how priests and lay leaders can fully implement the directives of Vatican II particularly developing the gifts of the spirit for the parishioners in the pew and challenging them to a renewal of prayer.
